LO5, C - Lunar New Year Celebration

Lunar New Year Celebration LO5, C January 26, 2023 Kilali and I planned and organized the Lunar new year again, but this year we trained three other students on how to organize and run it for next year. Training these students made setting up and organizing the event a lot easier. We taught them how to coordinate with Ms. Henderson and with Mr. Zhou, how to plan the chopstick race, order food, pick the prizes, and decorate the school. While we were teaching them how to run the event, it made me feel less stressed. Working with them helped the decorations be amazing, we were able to organize parts of the school authentically, and when you entered the school it felt like you were in the Chinese Lunar New Year. We were also able to accommodate the activities to include the middle school and on the day of the event, everything went smoothly. I think if these students and future leaders of the Lunar New Year did not help us we would have been very stressed and I don't think the event w...
